Hotel Lux - Munich

The quirky bar/restaurant downstairs offers a lively atmosphere and an excellent breakfast spread. The design feels warm and cute, blending interesting decor with an inviting ambiance.

Rooms facing the street can get quite noisy, especially with bar patrons and street maintenance waking you up in the early hours. Bathrooms are cramped, and the comfort of the beds might not be for everyone.

The location was excellant, close to everything in the old town, it's a plus. The stuff were affable and attentive in case of questions.

Had double room with the fan, bedrooms, for example. Excellent, perfect location near other restaurants, the main big shopping area, and main attractions like Domplatz. Again, walking distance to a central square.

The location is perfect for exploring Munich, just a block from Marienplatz. Limited soundproofing made for a noisy night, though.

Excellent location! center, it's all around. Breakfast was ok, included in the room rate.

Our room was on the street side, and it was far too noisy to relax, especially late at night when bar guests were outside. The room showed a clear lack of maintenance, with a somewhat run-down feel.

Distinctive and perfect place with attentive staff and incredible location close to everything you want to see. Delicious breakfast for early risers, with outstanding food. Location close enough to many attractions, landmarks, bier gardens and restaurants, Christmas market and train station and shops, food and great atmosphere.

I had the double room which was nicely decorated and functional with your baggage...

great location but noisy

The location was fantastic. The room was clean and efficient with a very comfy bed. The breakfast spread was excellent with a variety of delicious options to start the day. The lively atmosphere in the bar downstairs added a nice touch to our evenings.

The staff were accommodating, especially Leonie, who handled all our requests with a smile.

The room showed signs of wear, with a slightly run-down appearance that could benefit from a remodel.

The staff were warm and cute. Breakfast was a delight, especially the granola paired with fresh fruits and quality coffee. The bar offered expertly crafted cocktails, and the ambiance was perfect to unwind after a day in the city.

The beds were two twins pushed together.

The staff were super personal and kind! Rooms have nice character too, but lack air conditioning, and the street noise was an issue. Still, a cozy spot for a family stay 😊

The central location made exploring attractions easy, with easy access to pharmacies and restaurants nearby. The room, while basic, provided a comfortable refuge from the bustling streets, though noise could be an issue for light sleepers. Service was really good. The staff were very good by searching for a lost piece of my paperwork after checkout. The breakfast with organic jams was a good start to the day.

Just a reliable pick for a short staycation in Munich with value for price. The included buffet breakfast was excellent and got us off to a great start each day. Stay on a lower floor to avoid the stairs after a long day exploring.
